The Performer

Graduate Recital, University of Northern Iowa

While receiving my  education at the University of Northern Iowa, under the study of Jean McDonald, I participated in the UNI Opera Ensemble. Among many opera scenes concerts, I performed the role of Elizabeth Proctor (Ward’s The Crucible), Mauyra (Vaughan Williams’ Riders to the Sea) and Rosalinde (J. Strauss’ Die Fledermaus).

I have placed in the NATS vocal competition at both the district and regional levels. In 2009, I was a participant in the Des Moines Metro Opera James Collier Young Artist program.

I performed the role of Carmen in La tragédie de Carmen as a guest artist in the University of Minnesota Opera Theater (November 2014). My most recent performance was as the Alto Soloist of Bach’s B Minor Mass with the St. Peter Choral Society (2016).

Throughout the Twin Cities, I have worked with the Minnesota Opera, Minnesota Concert Opera, Mill City Opera, Mixed Precipitation, Coro, Sonomento, the Fringe Festival and Opera on Tap. I study with voice teacher Craig Fields, and I am thrilled at the possibilities still ahead of me.
